ADULT RHEUMATOLOGY WORKSHOP
Our traditional pre-congress adult rheumatology workshop will focus on practical aspects of rheumatology.
Interesting clinical cases will be discussed in an interactive format. We will have a dedicated session on The rheumatologist’ apporach to imaging. Following a light lunch, the workshop will conclude with a hands on focus on joint examination techniques.
PAEDIATRIC & ADOLESCENT RHEUMATOLOGY CONGRESS
We would like to invite all adult and paediatric rheumatologists, paediatricians, registrars, patient representatives and allied professionals to attend the first one-day Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology Congress on Thursday 29 February 2024 as part of the 2024 SARAA Congress. The Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology Congress has been designed for all clinicians and partners involved in the care of people of any age with young-onset rheumatic disease, to gain a better understanding of the basics and latest developments in paediatric and adolescent rheumatology. Sessions will include practical approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of common paediatric rheumatic diseases while addressing some of the challenges that we all face when managing children and young people, especially in the South African context. New developments and the latest data will be discussed with local and international experts and the day promises to be enjoyable, interactive and valuable learning and networking opportunity. We really look forward to seeing you there.
Attendance at the Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology Congress is offered at a day rate of R800 which includes refreshments.
If you are attending the main Congress and wish to attend the Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology Congress in addition, registration is discounted to R600 including refreshments.
